Global Investment Institute congratulates Michael Sykes on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer at Australian Food Super.
Formerly known as AMIST Super, Australian Food Super, is a profit-for-members industry super fund with A$2.9 billion in assets under management.
With extensive experience in both financial services and leadership, Michael has held senior executive roles across the superannuation, investment management, and financial advisory sectors. Most recently, Michael served as Acting General Manager of Corporate Services at Animal Health Australia. Prior to that, he was the Chief Executive Officer of AvSuper for over three years, and before that, he spent more than 16 years as Deputy CEO and Executive Manager of Finance at MTAA Super.
Michael holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Economics from the University of New England.
