Global Investment Institute congratulates Ben Graetzer on his promotion to Head of Portfolio Risk & Solutions at Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC).
The Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) is a public authority responsible for investing for the benefit of Victorians. VFMC manage funds of more than A$92 billion for Victoria and 32 Victorian public authorities and related organisations.
Ben brings 20 years of experience in Financial Services, with expertise spanning Asset Consulting, Superannuation, and Banking across both Australia and the UK. Most recently, he was the Senior Manager of Portfolio Risk at VMFC. Ben’s previous roles include Consultant at JANA Investment Advisers, various positions at RBC Capital Markets, ultimately serving as Associate Director of Fixed Income and Currencies Market Risk, Product Controller at ABN AMRO / Royal Bank of Scotland, and two roles at St George Bank, culminating in his position as Performance Analyst.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and he is a CFA charterholder.
