Global Investment Institute congratulates Sarah Gaskin on her new appointment as Senior Manager, Asset Management Climate Risk & Reporting at MLC Asset Management.
MLC Asset Management is a business division in the Insignia Financial group of companies. They are one of Australia’s largest investment managers with over A$326 billion in assets under management and administration.
Sarah will lead the Asset Management division’s contribution to the newly legislated climate risk assessment and reporting per the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (S2) which apply from 1 January 2025.
Sarah was most recently in the role of Manager – Stewardship at the Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC). Prior to this, she was a Senior Analyst within the Responsible Investment Team at Aware Super, having joined Aware Super in 2015 as an Analyst. Sarah was previously a Research Assistant at The University of New South Wales (UNSW).
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons 1) in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Government from UNSW. She also graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master’s degree, Masters Public Health.
