GII congratulates Ben Griffiths on joining the Future Fund in the position of Director, Equities.
The Future Fund is Australia’s sovereign wealth fund, investing and managing assets of more than AU$250 billion for the benefit of future generations of Australians.
Immediately prior to this role, Ben was the Head of Equities in the Portfolio Delivery team at NSW TCorp (TCorp), the investment manager for over AU$110 billion managed on behalf of NSW government agencies. Ben played a key role in designing and constructing TCorp’s AU$47 billion equity portfolio across developed and emerging markets. In particular, he was responsible for the selection, engagement and management of external investment partners in equities, with a strong focus on designing bespoke solutions to meet the needs of TCorp’s portfolio.
Prior to joining TCorp, Ben was a Senior Consultant at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) where he was Head of Equity Manager Research, Australia and a member of the global manager research team.
Ben has a Bachelor of Economics (Social Sciences) (Hons) from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Finsia (now Kaplan) and is a CFA® Charterholder.
